AADHAAR PAN LINK - LAST DATE
As you are aware, linking of PAN-Aadhar is mandatory with effect from 1st July 2023.
If PAN-Aadhaar is not linked, the PAN will be deemed as "inoperative". Once PAN becomes "inoperative", it is deemed that the investor had not furnished, intimated, or quoted PAN and accordingly be liable for consequences under the applicable Act.
Please be informed that Mutual Fund transactions (Fresh or Additional Purchase, Switch, Fresh & Existing Systematic, Redemption etc.) may get rejected or higher TDS may be deducted, as applicable.
The PAN will become "operative" only when the same is linked with Aadhaar.
